When not progressing his Chiropractic profession, he is actively working out and enjoying nature with friends and family. He likes to go golfing, kayaking, cycling, and enjoys motorcycle rides and watching the latest TV shows. He also enjoys playing games, to include tabletop, board, video, and card games with friends on the weekends.

Dr. Brian Brockman

Dr. BrockmanDr. Brockman grew up in a small, south central Nebraska town. He never had much exposure to chiropractic until after his graduation from the Nebraska Wesleyan University in 1979. He had earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Wesleyan, but was uncertain of his next step. He became reacquainted with a college friend who had recently graduated as a Doctor of Chiropractic and was practicing in Beatrice. After weeks of discussion and time spent with this friend, he became aware that chiropractic philosophy was quite parallel with his own philosophy of health and wellness. He then enrolled in Palmer College of Chiropractic in the fall of 1981, and graduated in 1984. He began practice in Rogers, Arkansas, but decided to return home to Nebraska in 1989.

Chiropractic is a science, art, and philosophy that deals with the relationship of the spine and the nervous system. It is used to remove interference in the nervous system within and without the spine. Many conditions for which most of us would never consider chiropractic include respiratory (asthma), digestive (constipation/diarrhea), ear infections in the young, carpal tunnel syndrome, and many others have responded well to adjustive care.

Our practice has its share of these patients. However, the bulk of our practice deals with musculoskeletal conditions such as headaches, neck and back pain, sciatica, disc problems, arm, shoulder and hand pain, arthritis, stenosis and the like.

Dr. Brockman is currently the only active certified Cox technique practitioner in the Omaha metro area. Cox technique is a gentle, effective treatment for the neck or lower back with the use of manual decompression to reduce disc herniation or other derangement of the disc.
